Scott is typically available to meet you at your requested location for same day or next day appointments in the downtown Wilmington area. He is also able to meet in Claymont or Newark under special circumstances. Scott’s fees are fair and compliant with the standards set by the state of Delaware. Additionally, a fee of $100-150 may be charged for urgent appointments.
In-Person Notary Appointments
- ◘ Clients are requested to bring an acceptable form of ID (REAL ID, US driver’s license, US passport, foreign passport or birthday certificate). Please note that notarization cannot proceed if your identity cannot be verified.
- ◘ Individuals representing corporate clients should also bring a Letter of Authority stipulating that they are authorized to act on behalf of the entity.
Remote Notary Appointments
- For your convenience and safety during the COVID-19 pandemic, remote notary appointments are possible.
- ◘ Notarization of IDs, digital signatures, USPS Form 1583, IRS forms and bank forms (such as IRA and 401(k) forms) can be performed remotely via live video call.
- ◘ Oaths and affirmations may also be performed remotely.
- ◘ Please be prepared to show your identification documents during the video call.
- ◘ If you do not have a corporate account with us, you will be requested to make payment in full prior to the start of the remote appointment.

- ◘ Scott is typically available between the hours of 9.30 am to 5.00 pm from Monday to Friday. Out of hours appointments may be made in advance at no extra charge. However, for urgent appointments after 7.00 pm, an extra charge of 50% will be added.

- ◘ Scott is required by law to retain records of all appointments, including the name(s) of the clients, date and time of appointment, location of appointment, and details of documents notarized. For example, “certified true copy of academic transcripts” or “IRA form”. The contents of the documents will not be recorded or retained.
- ◘ Records of appointments will be kept confidential at all times and will not be made available to any unauthorized third parties or members of the public.
